Hey guys! If you remember from my first post I said that as time goes on you’ll get to learn more about me. Well get ready to learn about something near and dear to my heart: Paper Products. I LOVE STATIONARY and anything having to do with office supplies, writing, and paper. I always loved back to school time because I would get that list of school supplies that your teacher had prepped for the upcoming year and would be in heaven dreaming of the aisles in Walmart filled with notebooks and folders. Every day for at least a week straight before school started, my brother and I would pull out our backpacks filled with all the school supplies and compare what we had gotten and sort them in our pencil boxes. I think as we got older he just did it to humor me but I love him for that.
Anyways, as I grew older I stopped calling them school supplies and refer to them as paper products. I also left behind the daydreams of Walmart and now find comfort in online specialty stores. Whether it’s for my desk at work or notes on the fridge I love searching for the perfect thing that will bring me joy when I’m doing the mundane task of filing papers or writing my to-do list. Whenever I’m traveling for work I love to go into local stationary stores and especially Paper Source when I’m in bigger cities like Denver or Minneapolis. I’ve found that Rifle Paper Co. and One Canoe Two have a lot of items I am drawn towards but I’m always open to more! One day I’ll do a post on the current supplies and favorites I have when it comes to paper products but today we’re starting a new series called Currently Crushing, where I’ll talk about things I’m dying to bring into my life via the online shopping world. This week, if you haven’t guessed from the title or my stories so far, is about paper products. Woo hoo!
So first up is the above pictured Food Journal. I found this on Anthropologie’s website and fell in love. This may be a purchase for the month rather than just a drool worthy image I view on my computer. From what I can tell you can write recipes and notes about the different foods you make at home. There’s also the Baking Journal for those of you who have more of a sweet tooth.
Next up are these adorable file folders. Every time I read the “I am very busy” one in my head I imagine myself as a toddler playing dress up and telling clients that I’m very busy. Which sometimes I feel like I am even though I’m considered an “adult” these days. The second one is a nice pep talk to myself every time I have to file away some sort of important paper aka student loan bills. (Insert crying emoji) There are 2 different sets from ban.do and you can get them here and here!
Onto One Canoe Two products! This little matching set is sold separate but they’re so adorable they’re worth it to me! I’ve honestly had my eye on these products for a few months and just haven’t clicked the “checkout” button yet. I love the colors on these two and the herbs on both items. I think these are so cute plus they may make cute presents for some people in my life… Buy them here and here!
Finally, here are my current crushes at Rifle Paper Co.! I definitely have the most crushes at this website and these are just a few of them. Like I’ve mentioned before, I travel for work and these items look so adorable for packing lists and jotting notes while I’m on the road. I actually think I’m gonna treat myself and buy the travel notebook and cross my fingers it gets here before I leave in 2 weeks! Buy these cuties here and here.
Okay, we’re wrapping this up with some of my personal favorites: Calendars! I love Rifle Paper Co. calendars. The first calendar is called the cities calendar and features adorable drawings of cities around the world. Pick that up right here. Next up is the Travel the World desk calendar. It’s smaller in size but just as amazing! This one has different places from around the world, from the Great Barrier Reef to Iceland. You better buy it right now and click here. Finally, for a week full of kicking butt we have the Weekly List notepad. I want those glasses that are featured on them (& the coffee). I think this is so cute and maybe it would help keep me on task more. If not, it’d be a cute distraction. 🙂 Buy it here!
That ends my crushes for the week! Let me know which of these items is your favorite and if you have any recommendations for me to buy more paper products I don’t need, leave them in the comments. I’ll leave you all with this:
